YEREVAN.- Armenian Speaker Samvel Nikoyan and the government members headed by Premier Tigran Sargsyan laid a wreath at the eternal flame at the Grave to the Unknown Soldier in Yerevan.

They observed a minute of silence honoring memory of those who perished in Great Patriotic War and Artsakh Liberation War, the Armenian News-NEWS.am correspondent reports from Yerevan’s Victory Park.

The troops of the Armenian Armed Forces and Russian base deployed in Gyumri marched in the park.

Representatives of NGOs, citizens are coming to the Victory Park with flowers.

On May 9 Armenia and Nagorno-Karabakh Republic celebrate the Victory Day in the World War II (Great Patriotic War) as well as the Liberation of Shushi and the anniversary of Nagorno-Karabakh Defense Army.
