President of the Republic Vahagn Khachaturyan received the Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sports, Zhanna Andreasyan.

Welcoming the minister, President Khachaturyan highly appreciated the reforms carried out by the ministry, emphasizing the importance of consistent work in the fields of education, science, culture, and sports. The President of the Republic noted that it is necessary to continue the reform process, enriching it with new ideas, modern approaches, and innovative solutions.

The President emphasized that Armenia's greatest wealth is its educated citizens, and one of the state's priority tasks is to create a favorable and encouraging environment for them.

"In reality, the beginning of everything is education. When the question is asked, what is Armenia's future, the answer is unequivocal: Armenia's future is educated people. We must be guided by this very logic," President Khachaturyan noted.

The President also emphasized the work carried out in the fields of culture and sports, noting that the activation of cultural life is visible, and it is necessary to continuously expand the scope of cultural programs and events. According to him, culture, like education, plays an important role in shaping the value system of society and educating citizens.

Vahagn Khachaturyan also highlighted the public's active participation in the reform process, emphasizing that the public demand for quality education itself contributes to the development of the sector. He noted that the state's goal is to shape proactive, responsible, and caring citizens who are ready to contribute to the country's development.

For her part, Minister Zhanna Andreasyan thanked the President of the Republic for the meeting and his appreciation, stressing that the President's constant attention and participation in sector events provide important support and guidance for the ministry's work.

The Minister noted that the reforms are extensive and their full understanding and acceptance require time. At the same time, she mentioned that the results of recent public opinion polls indicate a growing positive public attitude toward the ongoing changes in the field of education.

According to Zhanna Andreasyan, these results show that certain progress has been recorded in terms of public awareness and involvement, and it is necessary to continue consistent work toward the effective implementation of existing programs and ensuring reforms in the sector.
