The Azerbaijani soldier, who had a firearm in his hand, did not resist at all at the time of arrest; that is, as far as I understand, he had some injuries also. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this during Wednesday’s question-and-answer session with the government in the Armenian parliament.

Pashinyan did not rule out that this is the reason why the footage of the arrest was not made public.

At the same time, he could not say for sure whether such a video was made at all, and promised to find out and provide additional information.

Also, the premier admitted that he had asked his law enforcement colleagues to not publicize footage of people's arrests.

"What are those Armenian, Turk, Azerbaijani... questions for? We need to understand what these emphases bring. The incident that happened has nothing in common with all the speculations that we see today in the [Armenian media] field. It has reached the point where people are questioning the established peace. Although they were questioning it even before that incident. For those same people, it doesn’t matter what happened, why it happened, and under what conditions. What they will say doesn't change from that,” Pashinyan added.
