Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan commented on the statement of former Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) Secretary General Nikolay Bordyuzha.
At a press conference held on Wednesday, Mirzoyan, responding to a request to comment on Bordyuzha's words, stated as follows: "We [i.e. Armenia] have long since stopped our participation in the CSTO's work, we have frozen our membership. If other members or the secretariat general of that structure are making any comments, [it is] in vain. We will not change our attitude and, also, we do not see our return to the CSTO."
As reported earlier, Nikolay Bordyuzha had stated the need to expel Armenia from the CSTO.
