The court has extended the pretrial detention of former official Gagik Khachatryan for two months, the Anti-Corruption Court of Armenia informs.
A motion to place Gagik Khachatryan—the former Minister of Finance and former Chairman of the State Revenue Committee of Armenia—under pretrial detention was filed on charges of taking bribes, embezzling funds, illegally alienating property, and concealing the criminal origin of the funds.
