YEREVAN. - On Sept. 10, 6th Yerevan International Music Festival will kick off in the capital. The photo coverage of the story is available here.

Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra will begin its fall season within the scopes of the festival. The month long festival consists of 11 symphonic and chamber music concerts, as well as a number of solo concerts of world famous musicians.

Like previous years, within the framework of the festival young musicians will have the chance to participate in master classes. The festival will begin with show dedicated to the memory of Alexander Harutyunyan and Ohan Duryan and will be concluded with jubilee concert dedicated to Michel Legrand’s 80th anniversary. The great composer himself will participate in the show. The festival also brought to Armenia legendary Borodin String Quartet. Together with Armenian State Philharmonic Orchestra, they will perform symphony conducted by Edward Topchyan.
