YEREVAN. – The U.S. Embassy is commitment to environmental cooperation with Armenia, Ambassador John Heffern said in his video blog.
In a video dedicated to environment protection, Ambassador Heffern told about a contest in which artists contributed regional art works and photographs on the theme of Armenia and the environment. The Embassy received over 300 works, 24 of which were printed on large panels and placed on the Embassy’s walls.
“We are committed to helping Armenia succeed by promoting healthy environment, ecotourism and environment-friendly economic growth. We continue to look for opportunities to engage with partners in private and public sectors to protect and promote Armenia’s natural splendor,” Ambassador said.
He also thanked the Armenia Tree Project and “Foundation for the Preservation of Wildlife and Cultural Assets” (FPWC).
