YEREVAN. – The heavy snow, which fell Sunday in Armenian capital city Yerevan, has caused a “headache” for the city commuters.
The rule, which has become a pattern in recent years, again was confirmed on Monday morning.
The bulk of the Yerevan public transport vehicles did not work in the morning. As a result, crowds of commuters are waiting at the public transport stops, and those public transport vehicles that do operate are jam-packed.
In addition, there are difficulties in calling for a taxi, especially to and from the higher-elevation districts of the Armenian capital city.
