As reported earlier, Speaker Abrahamyan said there are 77 votes for. During the vote, opposition parliamentary groups as well as Prosperous Armenia left the hall. Head of Heritage parliamentary faction Zaruhi Postanjyan took away the cards for voting, therefore the lawmakers voted by the show of hands.

Activists are chanting “stay in the streets”, “free and independent Armenia” and are signing Armenian anthem.

The MPs of non-coalition parliamentary factions left the parliament’s building and are standing by the activists. The demonstrators urged them to give up parliamentary seats.
