YEREVAN. – The protest action and march organized by “We are against mandatory cumulative pension reform” initiative ended in Liberty Square.
The participants said they had taked decisive moves towards the victory.
“This is an unprecendented action, as young people took to the streets. We got closer to our victory,” said Gerasim Vardanyan, activist form Nikol Aghbalyan student union.
Protesters said they would wait till January 25 when the Constitutional Court is set to decide on a petition submitted by four non-coalition political forces. They promised to do everything, including sit-down strikes, to achieve positive results.
