PARIS. – France 2 state-run television of France aired a documentary film, titled “Apocalypse: The First World War,” on Tuesday evening.

Two minutes in the documentary were devoted to the Armenian Genocide, journalist Jean Eckian told Armenian News-NEWS.am.

A total of 5.88 million people watched the documentary.

In the film, the shots of that era were presented in color, and the narrator spoke on the Armenian Genocide stating that, “As a result, more than one million people have died.”
