YEREVAN. – “I’ve taken a step. I’ve tried to discuss the funded pensions’ reform with the four [non-ruling National Assembly (NA) factions (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia, ARF Dashnaktsutyun, and Heritage)].”

Newly appointed Prime Minister Hovik Abrahamyan told the aforesaid to reporters on Saturday.

“[But] it still needs to be discussed, as a result of which we will come to an agreement. You should salute this and appreciate my step of discussing the matters with all strata of society,” Abrahamyan added.

Abrahamyan unexpectedly had joined the “parliamentary four’s” meeting on Friday. Subsequently, he told reporters that the four forces had given him their draft for the pension reform and that he will study this draft and express his view.
