STEPANAKERT. – President of the Nagorno-Karabakh Republic Bako Sahakyan met in Yerevan with OSCE Chairperson-in-Office, Swiss Confederation President  Didier Burkhalter.

A number of issues related to the Azerbaijani-Karabakh conflict settlement and regional trends were discussed during the meeting ,NKR president's press service reported.

President Sahakyan noted that the biggest obstacle to the settlement is  militaristic policy of official Baku and considered important for the international community to undertake appropriate measures to condemn Azerbaijan's actions.

At the same time, President Sahakyan reaffirmed the position of official Stepanakert on peaceful settlement of the Azerbaijani-Karabagh conflict and the need to restore  full-fledged negotiation format within the frameworks of the OSCE Minsk Group.

Foreign Minister Karen Mirzoyan, Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairman-in-Office, Ambassador Andrzej Kasprzyk and other officials participated in the meeting.
