An assassination attempt was carried out against Georgian “thief-in-law” Kakhaber (Kakha) Parpalia in Odessa, Ukraine.
His Mercedes-Benz S-Class (W222) and his bodyguards’ Gelenvagen jeep were encircled while coming out of a hotel parking and fired upon by unidentified persons.
As a result, Parpalia’s bodyguards and two accompanying women were injured, one of whom later died.
The Georgian “thief-in-law,” however, managed to jump out of the car and flee the scene, Prime Crime reported.
