YEREVAN. – Armenian PM Hovik Abrahamyan promised the merchants protesting against the new law on turnover tax to discuss the difficulties and give answer in three days.

The traders were skeptical about the promise of the Prime Minister. However, they decided to wait for his answer, and to meet again at the government's building in three days.

The new amendments in the Law on Turnover Tax came into force on Wednesday. According to new amendments, a business enterprise will be warned at first, and, subsequently, it will be fined for not submitting a document on its commodity circulation. The large businesses, however, often do not provide documents to the small and medium-sized enterprises concerning the products.
