YEREVAN. – The Association of Informed Citizens of Armenia has produced a video to thoroughly explain how much the prices of various products will increase in the country, once the treaty on Armenia’s Eurasian Economic Union accession will enter into force.
“The treaty on Armenia’s joining the Eurasian Economic Union was signed on December 10 in the Belarus capital city of Minsk. As a result, the prices of around 7,000 items will increase.
“Pursuant to Annex 4 of this treaty, the tax rate hike for about 10 percent of these 7,000 products are deferred.
“By and large, the price of the bulk goods will increase after the 2018 presidential elections (on January 1, 2019),” the video description noted.
