YEREVAN. – The Yerkrapah (Defender of the Land) Volunteer Union (YVU) Board Chairman, Lieutenant General Manvel Grigoryan, does not follow the activities by the three non-government parliamentary forces (Armenian National Congress, Prosperous Armenia (PAP), and Heritage Parties), but “sometimes watches” their rallies.

Grigoryan told the aforementioned to reporters on Saturday at the YVU.

To a reporter’s query as to whether this trio’s rallies have a negative impact on the state of the country’s borders, the YVU leader responded: “How could it not have an impact? How can a fight, or displeasure, take place in your home and not affect you?”

And reflecting on PAP Chairman and oligarch Gagik Tsarukyan’s desire to become President, Manvel Grigoryan said: “What he wants to become is his problem. A lot of people want a lot of things. [But] Gagik Tsarukyan has been [a part of the ruling] establishment all his life. Since when did he become a non-establishment?”
