YEREVAN. – New details have been revealed in a deadly car accident that claimed lives of seven young people in Armenia's Lori region.
According to our source, explosion occurred on a pipe connecting a gas tank to the engine. The blast was so powerful that two men sitting behind were pushed out of the vehicle.
Two of the killed, Yerevan natives Arman Tonoyan, 22, and Artur Balyan, 22, went to Lori region to see their friends.
Stepanavan Hospital Director Robert Kotsinyan told us that the seven dead, who were youth between the ages of 20 and 25, were heading for Stepanavan town from Tashir town.
It was found out that the vehicle had gone off road at the motorway for yet unknown reasons, hit the rocks, and burst into flames.
Seven youth had died as a result of this road accident.
