YEREVAN. - Armenian Police held collegium on Friday, conducted by Armenian Chief of Police, Lieutenant General Vladimir Gasparyan.  

The collegium was attended by collegial members of the police, as well as heads of central offices, provinces and regional subdivisions.  

Lieutenant General and First Deputy Chief of Police Hunan Poghosyan reported on the results of the operative activity of police services and regional authorities during the first half of 2015.   

Vladimir Gasparyan positively assessed the results of the police activity during the reporting period.  

He thanked the police staff for the professionalism, high-level readiness and accurate actions during the sit-in in Yerevan’s Baghramyan Avenue. Gasparyan said that the tactics developed and experienced during that period must be exemplary and applicable for the police subdivisions during their future service.

Following the discussions after the reporting period, Gasparyan gave specific instructions and directives to the heads of regional subdivisions and services.
