YEREVAN. – DoubleTree By Hilton, a hotel of world famous Hilton hotel chain, opened in Armenia's capital city Yerevan on Saturday.
The second famous hotel brand has entered Armenia and differs by its modern design as compared to other hotels in Yerevan, General Manager Marco Palermi told reporters.
A 15-storey four-star hotel having 176 rooms is owned by Italian Renco corporation. The prices vary from around $156 (75,000 drams) to $250.
A total of $45 million was invested into the construction of a hotel that was built during 14 months.
The opening ceremony was attended by President Serzh Sargsyan, Mayor of Yerevan Taron Margaryan, Economy Minister Karen Chshmarityan, Italy's Ambassador to Armenia Giovanni Ricciull.
