YEREVAN. - World-famous boxer, multiple USSR champion, two-time champion of Europe and owner of World Cup, Samson Khachatryan from Armenia’s Vanadzor province, has returned to Armenia several years ago and settled in Yerevan.

The collection of drinks, which the boxer has collected for over 40 years, will be exhibited in a café on a ground floor of one of the hotels constructed in the capital. The drinks will be displayed together with several thousands of signatures from the presenters.

Armenian clown and actor Leonid Yengibaryan, Armenian football player Khoren Hovannisyan, politicians, national leaders and sportsmen, who knew about Khachatryan’s collection, gifted him expensive and rare drinks. Khachatryan treats each bottle with great care, regardless of who gifted it.

“Academicians, professors, drivers, mechanical traders - the most important thing is what kind of person you are. And then it doesn’t matter whether you are a politician, or, say, a social democrat,” the boxer said.

The collection from different countries of the world must, according to Khachatryan, symbolize the idea of peace and agreement.
