A total of 35 people were killed in the Dominican Republic as a result of landslides, floods and collapses caused by Tropical Storm Erika.
The country’s authorities, however, say the death toll from the natural disaster could grow, since several people are still missing.
The Dominican authorities have evacuated more than 7,300 people, reported TASS news agency of Russia.
The storm continues to move ahead over the Caribbean Sea.
