YEREVAN. - On occasion of the 24th anniversary of Armenia’s independence, an air balloon took to the air from Yerevan’s Republic Square today, waving Armenia’s national tricolor for about one hour.
Dozens of people watched the waving of the tricolor, which was implemented on the initiative of Ballooning Sports Federation of Armenia and Skyball organization.
Such a symbolic flight was also carried out from the Republic Square twenty-four years ago in 1991.
