Before the arrival of PM Hovik Abrahamyan, the governor of Ararat region Ruben Abrahamyan called the prime minister to assure farmers that he would be on the spot soon.

The PM instructed farmers to divide into two groups: one of the groups was sent to a winery in Mkhchyan village that belongs to Abrahamyan's family and another to  Avshar winery belonging to MP Arayik Grigoryan promising that they would accept the grapes.

“I cannot assure that you will be paid immediately today,” he added.

Talking to the village heads, Hovik Abrahamyan agreed to accept a list of farmers who will not manage to sell the grapes today promising to find solution.
