YEREVAN. - The policemen and the Armenian Ministry of Emergency Situations (MES) workers are at the moment carrying out a check in the Moscow-Yerevan flight plane which has arrived at Yerevan’s Zvartnots Airport.
MES Rescue Service Deputy Director Mushegh Ghazaryan, who is also the head of Yerevan city Rescue Service, confirmed this information to Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent.
“At the moment we are carrying out a check in the plane; we haven’t found anything yet,” Ghazaryan said.
MES received an alert this afternoon about a bomb at Zvartnots airport. It is supposed that the information related to the plane which arrived in Yerevan from Moscow’s Domodedovo airport at 8:35 pm.
The specialists have been carrying out a search in the territory, but they haven’t found anything yet.
Following the final checks, the plane will return to Moscow.
