The ruling Republican Party of Armenia (RPA) has decided to establish a political school which will be named after late Armenian PM Andranik Margaryan.

YEREVAN. - Armenian National Assembly (NA) Vice President Eduard Sharmazanov, who is also the spokesperson for RPA, told the aforementioned to the journalists after the RPA Executive Body session.

In his words, three inter-party issues were discussed at today’s session. “The party has decided to open a political school as is common in the European countries. The school will be named after late Armenian PM Andranik Margaryan,”the NA Vice President said.  

He also noted that the RPA has decided to increase the number of its committees. “It was decided to set up a Committee on Public Relations. Our party attaches great importance to the development of inter-party ties with both the European powers and Russia’s [ruling] United Russia party,”he said.

According to Sharmazanov, the RPA will convene another congress in fall, during which the party Activity Plan will undergo certain changes.  

The session also addressed certain inter-political issues. “The main inter-political discussions concerned the Electoral Code. The proposals of both the Venice Commission and the opposition were discussed,” the NA Vice President said.
