YEREVAN. – Edgar Gasparyan (born in 2002) and Roland Khojayan (born in 2001), who sustained injuries in Monday night’s bus explosion in Armenia’s capital city of Yerevan, have been transferred from “Armenia” Medical Center to Sourb Astvatsamayr (Holy Mother of God) children’s hospital, Health Minister Armen Muradyan told reporters at “Armenia” Medical Center.

In his words, the health conditions of these two teens stabilized after undergoing surgeries at night, and they were disconnected from artificial respiration apparatuses. 

The minister also informed that the affected have sustained splinter wounds, injuries, and burns.

One of these teenagers was in critical condition, as he had sustained a serious leg injury with severe bleeding. But he underwent surgery, and his leg was saved.

The blast had occurred in a public transport bus.

The explosion was so powerful that it was heard from several kilometers, and windows were broken in nearby buildings.

There are two casualties, and their identities are being ascertained.  

As of Tuesday 4:20am, there are eight injured, they are Armenian citizens, and they have been hospitalized.
