I strictly condemn the attack and racist statements against me for my Armenian descent, Armenian MP of the Kurdish Peoples’ Democratic Party (HDP) Garo Paylan wrote on his Facebook page. 

“Together with physical violence, deputies of Justice and Development Party (AKP) said offensive words regarding my Armenian identity. Let’s not forget that fascists are cowards; they can attack only one person by a group,” Paylan wrote.

The ruling party MPs have been attacking their Kurdish colleagues for already three days during the debates at the Turkish parliament concerning the bill on lifting politicians' immunity from prosecution. Garo Paylan was also attacked Monday.
