The European Central Bank (ECB) presented new banknote of €50 at its headquarters in Frankfurt am Main today. It will enter into turnover on April 4, 2017.

 By this moment the financial regulator should distribute new banknotes among the credit financial organizations, to update the software in ATMs and vending machines.

The portrait of Europa, a figure from Greek mythology will be visible on both sides of the note. Her image can be seen in the form of a watermark, and also on a holographic vertical strip. One more distinctive sign: 50 in the bottom of the left corner will change the color with blue on dark green depending on a tilt angle.
