YEREVAN. – Armenian Foreign Minister Edward Nalbandian, who arrived on an official visit to Tbilisi on Monday, met with his Georgian counterpart Mikheil Janelidze.
He presented the efforts of Armenia and the OSCE Minsk Group aimed at achieving progress in Karabakh talks.
Welcoming his Armenian counterpart, Minister Janelidze said the visit will allow continue the dialogue on issues of mutual interest.
Thanking for the invitation and warm reception, Edward Nalbandian noted that Armenia highly appreciates the development of relations with Georgia in all possible directions. The Ministers noted with satisfaction the effective cooperation between the foreign ministries of the two countries.
Nalbandian and Janelidze discussed consultations between the Foreign Ministries, expansion of the legal field, facilitation of cargo transportation, energy cooperation and contacts between the regions. The officials exchanged views on issues of cultural cooperation.
