YEREVAN. - Armenia and Azerbaijan indeed want to find a way out of the Karabakh crisis, Russian President Vladimir Putin said during the meeting with his Armenian counterpart Serzh Sargsyan in Moscow on Wednesday.

In his words, Russia and several other countries of the OSCE Minks Group could come forward as a guarantor in the resolution of the Karabakh conflict. According to Putin, Russia is interested in lowering the tension between Yerevan and Baku and will thus continue its cooperation to find solutions. “I’ll stress that Russia is interested in lowering the tension in the relations between our neighbors. We will continue providing any kind of support in search for the tie-outs of the Karabakh knot in the framework of the OSCE Minsk Group, as well as during direct communications with Yerevan and Baku. We hope that Armenia and Azerbaijan will be able to reach a compromise settlement of the existing conflicts, there being no winners and losers,” said Putin after the talks with the Armenian President, RIA Novosti reports.
