YEREVAN. - The Armenian Criminal Court of Appeals has decided to release on 1 mln AMD bail the Heritage Party representative Armen Martirosyan, suspected of organizing mass unrest in Yerevan.
“The Court of Appeals considered it permissible to release Martirosyan on bail in the amount of 1 mln AMD. I said and will reiterate that this was a political decision. Now Martorisyan has again been moved to Nubarashen criminal-executive institution. He will be released when the amount of the bail is paid,” Martorosyan’s attorney, Givi Hovhannisyan, said.
Armen Martirosyan was detained on July 29 during a police operation in Yerevan’s Khorenatsi street and Sari Tagh district.
