YEREVAN. – Newly appointed Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan on Wednesday went to the National Assembly of Armenia.

He will respond to the MPs’ queries within the framework of the governmental hour in Parliament, and for the first time as Prime Minister. 

Karapetyan is the fourteenth PM of Armenia. His predecessor, Hovik Abrahamyan, had resigned on September 8 arguing that he failed to eliminate the polarization of Armenian society.

At the ruling Republican Party of Armenia Board meeting, Karen Karapetyan had announced that he soon will introduce a plan for the development of Armenia, and which will also include measures toward boosting public confidence.
