YEREVAN. – The Armenian squadron of fighter planes, which are taking part in Wednesday’s military parade on the 25 anniversary of Armenia’s independence, flew over Republic Square in capital city Yerevan (PHOTOS).

And as they flew, they left behind a trace in the colors of the tricolor national flag of Armenia.

Colonel Armen Nersisyan is the commander of this squadron.

The Armenia air force planes and helicopters also flew in the skies above Republic Square.

A Russian squadron, with Colonel Nikolai Nikolayev in command, also have flown together with the Armenian pilots.
