YEREVAN. – The Prime Minister will review the cases of theft within the government. And if they are detected, you will see the consequences.

Vahram Baghdasaryan, head of the ruling Republican Party of Armenia National Assembly Faction, on Monday told the aforesaid to reporters in Parliament.

He noted this reflecting on newly appointed Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan’s calls for putting an end to “primitive theft” within the government.

“What was detected up to now was brought to account,” said Baghdasaryan. “The numerous criminal cases are based on similar phenomena.

“The Prime Minister will review. When [it is] discovered, you’ll see its consequences; he [i.e. Karapetyan] stated [this].”
