YEREVAN. – The Ministry of Culture of Armenia will create a new incentive for publishers.

Newly appointed Minister of Culture Armen Amiryan told the above-said to reporters, after Thursday’s Cabinet meeting.

In his words, bookstores in Armenia need to become a place of recreation for the whole family, just like movie theaters.

“Parents and children should go to bookstores and libraries together, learn about new books,” said Amiryan. “I believe this will become an incentive for publishing activities.

“How to achieve this? We will discuss this matter.”
