Armenia can offer favorable conditions to foreign investors, said Vache Gabrielyan, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of International Economic Integration and Reforms of Armenia, speaking to the Voice of America Armenian service.
Gabrielyan was participating in the Armenia Investment Forum, which was convened in New York City.
“We give all investors an opportunity to not only work in Armenia, but access to major markets, through us,” noted the deputy PM.
He considered agriculture and high tech to be full of prospect in Armenia.
The deputy PM pointed to macroeconomic stability, as one of Armenia’s accomplishments, whereas to the Karabakh conflict and the regional instability, as among its challenges.
Vache Gabrielyan stressed, however, that there are no severe domestic political problems in Armenia.
“All of our conflicts are regional,” he stated. “Our severe problems are linked to the neighboring countries.”
