YEREVAN. – In 2017, the Government of Armenia will do everything necessary to ensure growth and macroeconomic stability in the country.

Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan on Monday stated about the aforesaid speaking at the National Assembly hearings on the draft state budget for next year (PHOTOS).

In his words, the fiscal policy of Armenia should be clear to the public, and the processes—transparent.

“We will not ‘strangle’ the economy; we will give businesses the opportunity to reproduce,” added Karapetyan. “But, also, we will be strict so that we don’t increase the budget deficit.”
