make preferableYEREVAN. – Journalist Vahe Makaryan claims that opposition MP Ruben Hakobyan cursed and punched him after Wednesday’s briefing at the National Assembly (NA) of Armenia.
Makaryan’s cheek was completely red, and there were scratches.
“He [i.e. the journalist] acted like a hooligan,” Hakobyan said, for his part, in connection with this incident. “It has nothing to do with journalism. He attempted to give lessons in ethics, to teach; but it will not succeed.”
When asked whether he justifies that MPs punch journalists, Ruben Hakobyan responded, “And have you seen [it]?” and entered the NA Sessions’ Hall.
