YEREVAN. – Prime Minister Karen Karapetyan called on the National Security Service (NSS) to provide technical solutions for carrying out the agreements that were reached—on Tuesday in Moscow, and for the promotion of tourism in Armenia—with respect to Russian citizens’ being able to enter Armenia without passports that are used for traveling abroad.

At Thursday’s Cabinet session, Karapetyan urged to provide the respective technical solutions by no later than March 1.

“I instruct the State Tourism Committee to provide—by working with other interested organizations and the private sector—a wide range of tourism services for the Russian Federation citizens,” added the Armenian PM. “[And] to submit to the government staff, until March 15, a report on the [respective] work done.”
