YEREVAN. – The Armenian National Congress will challenge the day of election in the Constitutional Court, head of ANC parliamentary group Levon Zurabyan said in the parliament on Monday.
He said Aram Manukyan, the secretary of the group, will immediately start signature campaign to file a complaint to the Constitutional Court.
In turn, Vice Speaker of the parliament Hermine Naghdalyan noted that the experts on election law had already commented on the validity of that date. However, the leadership of the Republican Party of Armenia, including its leader, President of Armenia Serzh Sargsyan, does not consider the specific date for the election of principle and is ready to postpone the date with the agreement of all political forces.
