Armenia's Yelk (Way Out) alliance on Sunday launched its election campaign with a car march from its headquarters in Vanadzor, the third largest city of Armenia.

The alliance members headed for Spitak, Stepanavan and Tashior towns on their cars, Armenian News – NEWS.am correspondent reports.

National Assembly (NA) MP Edmon Marukyan urged the citizens to vote for Yelk alliance. The march was accompanied by police officers.

In the town of Spitak, Marukyan was told about homelessness and migration. One of the residents said: ''I'll vote for the one who gives more money. If you are that one, I'll vote for you.'' In response, Marukyan said: ''Don't vote for anyone for money.''

Referring to the format of the campaign launch, Marukyan told Armenian News – NEWS.am that they started with a car march, since the ''population has an awareness issue.''
