YEREVAN. – Armenia’s national security service thwarted an attempt to smuggle Igla missile system into Armenia from Georgia.
During a special operation, Igla system with a 9M39 missile was discovered and confiscated. Two Armenian citizens have been detained.
A criminal case was opened, and an investigation is underway.
