REN TV has released the St. Petersburg metro CCTV footage, which shows the photo of the alleged organizer of the attack.  

Earlier, Interfax reported that the surveillance cameras in St. Petersburg metro captured the alleged organizer of the blast.

According to the preliminary data, the explosive device filled with shrapnel might have been left in a briefcase on a train carriage. As per the official information, 9 people were dead and over 20 wounded as a result of the blast.

The blast occurred at 2:20pm on a train leaving the Technology Institute station and heading to the Sennaya Ploshad station.
