During the operation of detaining the man, who opened fire on people in Kratovo settlement of Moscow, one of the law enforcement officers suffered light injury, RIA Novosti reports, citing the source of the law enforcement authorities.

Fighters of the Federal National Guard Troops Service and the policemen launched the storming of the house, where the shooter is hiding.   “At the moment the operation aimed at detaining the man is underway. He is firing at the police officers, and blowed up thunder flash, but not military grenades (as a number of media outlets reported). During the storming, one of the law enforcement officers sustained light injury,” the agency representative said.

Prior to this, the media outlets reported that the shooter escaped the house and hid in the forest. The press-service of the General Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia earlier informed that a man opened fire on passers-by by a game getter and from the territory of his house.

The Russian media outlets name different figures of casualties and injured. Interfax reported about 3-4 casualties, while according to RIA Novosti, three people were injured, one of whom died in a hospital.
