YEREVAN.- Armenia National Assembly Vice-Speaker, ruling Republican Party Press Secretary Eduard Sharmazanov told reporters on Monday that he is the master of his mandate and he opposes holding of snap parliamentary elections, regardless of the timing.

According to him, the agenda of the talks with Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan over the holding of the elections isn't known yet. 

"The RPA has its own position. We want to listen to this person, to understand what he is going to say. Vahram Baghdasaryan will meet with Nikol Pashinyan, after which we will everything inside the party," Sharmazanov said.

"I am the master of my mandate, I oppose the holding of snap parliamentary elections, regardless of the timing. I said that we are against confrontation, there are no rivals and enemies  for us in the country, but we must do everything to preserve the separation of powers in the republic," the MP said.
