YEREVAN. – The First President of Armenia, Levon Ter-Petrosyan, has voted for peace.

He told about the aforementioned to reporters, after casting his ballot in Sunday’s snap parliamentary election.

When asked how he views the recent revolution in Armenia and the actions by the new government—led by Acting Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, the First President said if he responded, it would be considered campaigning.

To the question as to whether he has and concerns about the Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict, Ter-Petrosyan replied with a question: “Is there anybody among the Armenian people who has no concerns [in this regard]?”

And when asked to comment on second President Robert Kocharyan’s being remanded in custody, in connection with the ongoing criminal case into the tragic events that unrolled in March 2008, in capital city Yerevan, Levon Ter-Petrosyan said: “That’s all campaigning; [it] can’t be said.”
