YEREVAN. – Armenia’s acting Foreign Minister Zohrab Mnatsakanyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Elmar Mammadyarov met in Paris under the mediation and with the participation of the OSCE Minsk Group Co-Chairs Igor Popov, Stéphane Visconti and Andrew Schofer.

Personal Representative of the OSCE Chairperson-in-Office Andrzej Kasprzyk also participated in the meeting, Armenian Foreign Ministry said in a statement.
According to Armenian MFA, there was a useful and constructive exchange of ideas, which was also aimed at broader mutual understanding and mutual trust.

During the meeting which lasted more than four hours, the interlocutors touched upon a wide range of issues related to the peace process, including the preparation of nations for peace, security and sustainable regional development.

The new date is not yet confirmed, nevertheless, the foreign ministers have agreed to continue consistent and purposeful contacts in the coming months.
