YEREVAN. – So that the Civil Contract Party (CCP) would formulate what it will do in the future, first it’s important that it record what it has done to this day.

The Prime Minister of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, on Sunday stated the aforementioned at the fourth congress of this political force, as he presented the circumstances and ideology behind the founding of this party.

As per Pashinyan, they have offered a new ideology that, “Not the [political] leader, but every individual, every citizen is the key player of the changes.”

The PM read a paragraph from the precepts of their party and where, as per the PM, the whole ideology is focused on: “The transformation of an individual is an important tool for public transformation.”

He stressed that they rule out violence as a tool for resolving domestic political matters.

As per Pashinyan, they have not drifted from their principled position, and the people who believed in the proclaimed precepts have completed the revolution in Armenia.

And today, in the Armenian premier’s words, 70 percent of the CCP’s program has been implemented, “and we should think for the next step.”

“We need to help the poor and despairing citizen sitting at home surmount despair,” he said. “But we need to realize that the most important tool to help this citizen is to help [him] believe in himself and his task.”

Pashinyan stressed that they must carry out the economic revolution in Armenia while being criticized at the same time. As per the PM, the citizens who carried out the political revolution should also carry out the economic revolution in the country.

In addition, Pashinyan pointed to their future tasks.

“We need to figure out where unjustified luxury begins and where nuances begin that have a state ceremonial significance,” he noted, in particular.

Nikol Pashinyan concluded that the greatest mission of their political team is not to disappoint the people, and to instill them confidence in their own powers.
