YEREVAN. – If the adversary constantly says, “We are about to attack, we are about to war, we are about to free our territories,” what should the defense minister do? The minister raises the moral and psychological state of the society and the armed forces.

The Minister of Defense of Armenia, Davit Tonoyan, on Tuesday told the aforesaid to reporters at Yerablur Military Pantheon in capital city Yerevan.

“A lot of information that comes from our adversary [Azerbaijan] is downloaded in the media outlets of Armenia,” Tonoyan added. “We are working so that psychology changes among the public.

“And as long as the [Nagorno-Karabakh (Artsakh) conflict] negotiation process is not over, [we] always have to be ready for war.”
